A whole year, in one story

Every chat has a year in it. The holiday that took 400 messages to book. The month everyone was suddenly into padel. The birthday that nearly got forgotten. Chat Stories reads the whole chat, finds the biggest moments and turns them into a short audio story, cast from the people in the chat and performed with music.

Make it a comedy, a nature documentary narrated by a very serious voice, a sci-fi epic or a full-on musical. Every line is something someone really said, so the best bits are the ones only your lot will get.

Made for New Year's Day

It's the perfect thing to post in the chat on 1 January: a little recap of the year you had together, from the group chat to you and your other half. Families, flatmates, five-a-side teams, the uni lot who still talk every day.

How it works

Export the chat from your phone.
Pick a genre: we read the whole chat, so every year is in it.

Private by design

Your chat is read on your phone and never stored. Only what's needed to write the story is sent, and we don't keep it. See what's free and what it costs.
